Pedro es una pizza
Pete can’t go out to play because it’s raining. To cheer him up, his dad decides to turn him into a pizza. He takes Pete to the kitchen table, and kneads him, stretching his legs and throwing him in the air like pizza dough. He then sprinkles over him with pretend flour, oil, tomato, and cheese. The expressive watercolor-and-ink illustrations accompany the humorous text to open a window into the world of imaginative play.
